Christmas Eve at Grandma's House

My tall, dark, and good looking cousin Odie was there. He is a pain in my short and brown neck, but I try to be a good role model for dog behavior. We worked on Sit. I tried to teach him how to sit in the kitchen, but he is so young he gets all excited and tries to MAKE the food fall off the counter on our heads.
We got kicked out of the kitchen.
Even after all my training and hard work Odie got a bigger bone for the holidays than I did!

Snow Damage

The snow has been a problem for my neighborhood. Look what I saw on the way to my favorite fire hydrant. Amnesia Brewery's tent fell down. Where will have I have my dog bone while my folks drink their beer? There are like 30 picnic tables under there.. I think.. if I could count.

Cuddle Time!

Every December they stick these things on my head. It makes them laugh. It is awful!

To add insult to injury, next they put the antlers on my favorite toy. Mr. Oy Vey, I can barely look at you.

Dad's Home!

I don't care where he went, I am just so happy he is home.
I like to lay on him so I know he can't go far away for a while.

Fire Time... Toasty!

After all that hard work cleaning up the snow and a good snack I need a nap.
The best part of snow days is that the fire place is always on.

Chore Time!

I usually vaccum. Today, I am helping pick up the snow that falls off the boots. I also do a sweep of the kitchen for anything I missed.

I get a treat after chore time! Peanut butter for me, coffee for my mom!

Most Important Job of the Day!

Generally my job is to make sure no birds fly over our house. This is mostly yelling at them, "You can't fly over here! Fly over there! No birds allowed over here!"
I am not sure my parents appreciate all my hardwork.
The most important job of the day is greeting the mail lady. I love her. So I bark to let her know I see her and I loooovvveee her.

Naps are the best part of the day! I wish Laney would stop making fun of me. I can't help it if I snore.

Morning Walk

My mom believes in daily exercise. Doesn't she understand that my tummy is dragging in the snow. It is cold.
And, she makes me wear this ridiculous coat.

After going outside, I warmed up with my mom. She was doing important work, she calls it e-mail.

I think my paws have finally defrosted
Then, I warmed up with my dad.

Life has been tough lately.
It has been snowing. A lot. I am too short for all this snow.
It all started this morning. It has snowed all night. I don't want to go outside. But I have too, my mom will get mad if I go to the bathroom in the house. Off I go to brave the snow.
